Shrimp Pasta with Vermicelli

ItalianThis shrimp pasta dish is easy and delicious. It is great as a main course and will make you look like an italian chef. Enjoy.......
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c. Olive Oil de Fino
- 1 lb vermicelli
- 2 lbs shrimp
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp lemon pepper
- 3/4 Tbsp onion powder
- 12 cloves of garlic finely diced
- 1/4 c. red wine (I use what I have opened in the “fridge”... “Cab”, Merlot, etc..)
- 1/2 c. asiago cheese - grated fresh
Instructions:
Cook pasta al-dente. Rinse, drain and set aside covered, to keep warm. In large fry pan, heat Olive Oil de Fino on high, add garlic and cook until golden. Stir in the shrimp to coat all pieces for about 3 minutes. Pour in the wine and remaining seasoning. Bring it to a quick boil, turn off the heat and let sit covered for 10 minutes. Fold all this into the vermicelli. Serve with grated asigo cheese.
